Advancing Medication Delivery Systems in Healthcare Organizations
Me, Cheyenne and Dane partnered with Pope's Place, a pediatric home located in Centralia, Washington, to assess the organization's needs and develop an Evidence-Based Practice project that aimed to reduce their medication error rates related to missing doses of medications that failed to be refilled due to a mostly manual process.
Professional Highlights
I had the privilege to be sponsored by my current employer to attend the Epic 2025 XGM (Expert Group Meetings) and official Epic training to become an Epic Certified Clinical Informaticist. Obtaining so much insight and immersion in the leading Electronic Healthcare Records in the US has provided me with immeasurable growth and experience, especially this early in my career in clinical informatics. Developing such a comprehensive and adaptable EHR is very demanding, so Epic has invested in the most sustainable, themed campus to ensure employees and partners remain inspired and creative, in order to keep up with the huge responsibility patients and healthcare organizations place on our hands daily, when they choose to provide and input data into Epic. The campus is truly magical, inspiring and fun, please enjoy the pictures!
Epic Systems Campus Pictures
These are general pictures of the Learning Center building, located at the Central Campus. Features include the Deep Space, Ella's Carrousel and random amazing pic opps throughout campus.
This building was themed around the Harry Potter series, and even has a Diagon Alley. A few years ago, Epic received a letter from J.K. Rowling requesting that the organization either pays for the rights or removes the names. Epic renamed the building and the alley, but the charm remained.
The best theme in my opinion, with the Alice building being my favorite. Other themes include Wizard of Oz.
Other themed building include Jules Verne, Sci-fi and The Grimm.
